... in a cinematic comic book by Mario Bava.

Maybe the current economic situation has left people afraid to spend their money on treasures that were previously other people's trash, or perhaps the people with trash to sell have of late been unable to peddle enough treasures to recoup the charge for space to place a table. Im betting it's both. Whatever the case may be, it was a real downer to visit the mammoth indoor flea market at the state fairgrounds and discover the number of vendor tables reduced to a mere fourth (or less) of what's normally there. The only highlight of the visit was discovering two cardboard bins each holding a different variety of counterfeit Pokemon card sets. The highlight of the trip would have been buying dried papaya from the friendly, feeble, elderly gentlemen who's always there, but this year he was a no-show.
